was held Friday, July 12, 2002, details of this past event follow:

6:30-9:30 pm Exhibits in the Grand Ballroom

• Singles & sports clubs, cultural organizations & businesses representing the latest in trends, products & services for singles
• Pick up free samples & social calendars
• Complimentary hors d'oeuvres
• Miriam Carey, author of 52 Romantic Outings in Greater Cleveland and 365 Ways to Meet People in Cleveland will speak about how to meet new friends, develop better business relationships, and find romance in Cleveland. Her presentation will take place at 7:30 pm, immediately followed by a book signing. Proceeds from the sale of Carey's books will benefit the Cleveland Foodbank.
• Cleveland Swing Co. will teach Salso & Swing dancing
• Catch cooking demos with the Pampered Chef
• Visit the Caribou Coffee Cafe with free samples
• Trudy McNeela will play the Baby Grand, 8:30 pm

9:30-12:30 am Dancing to live band: "The Blend" Check out our band at Theblendonline.com

Throughout the evening:

• Door prizes & entertainment
• Cash bar, featuring Landerhaven's special Martini Bar
• Music by Freddie James DJ Services
• Party under the stars on Landerhaven's beautiful outdoor patios

Tickets are $25 at the door. Cash or check (please bring photo ID for checks).

Notes:

ATTIRE: Landerhaven is an upscale party center. Dressy attire is welcomed; many women wear dresses or skirts and many men wear suits or sports jackets. Jeans or shorts would not be appropriate for this event.

AGES: 21 and up!

SMOKING: Smoking at the SINGLES EXPO will be permitted on the two large (covered) patios only. A bar and tables will be set up outdoors.

Exhibitors:

This unique event attracts 1,200+ people interested in finding out more about the latest services, resources and organizations for singles. Showcased will be 60 exhibits, including civic, cultural and theatre groups, entertainment and sports facilities, colleges, travel agencies, insurance, real estate and investment companies, plus kayaking, sailing and park displays. In addition, various special interest groups for singles will be in attendance - everything from dining clubs to volunteer opportunities with other singles. Those attending the Expo can make plans for an exciting summer by picking up free social calendars and by meeting the members of the many singles clubs participating.
